A recent study has shown that women are generally happier after a divorce as compared to their male ex-spouses.

Out of 1,060 divorced men and women surveyed, a total of 53% of women reported that they are "much happier" after a divorce, as opposed to 32% men, who reported the same.

The biggest cause of divorce, according to the people surveyed, was one person in a relationship changing. A total of 49% of the people surveyed stated that their spouse had changed. Only 14% of the people surveyed admitted that they had changed, and were the cause of the divorce.

Of course, one must read between the lines of this study. It can be extrapolated that only half of the women after a divorce were much happier. What about the other half?
